After you have completed all of the steps in the Student Guide to Los Rios Colleges Online Programs, make sure you take the following final steps to get ready for your classes.
After you have submitted your college application, you should apply for financial aid. If you are a US citizen or permanent US resident, then submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you are not a US citizen or permanent US resident, then you should submit the California Dream Act Application instead of the FAFSA.
Many students qualify for thousands of dollars in state or federal grants, so make sure you apply for financial aid each year you're in college!
